After the tracks have been laid and wired, I did a short test run with a 0-4-2 Porter:

After trying to build the turnout in place with only spikes and failed, I just built it on my workbench with PCB ties and soldering:

Added the plaster cloth on the tunnel structure:

Then covered it with Sculptamold to give it realistic terrain looks:
