On30 sawmill from scratch -- slash burner (1)
Started to build the slash burner.
Here is the skeleton of the structure:
Created the top:
Added the covering and sprayed with red base color. I also added some basic weathering:
I also created a platform for the top of the burner:
Some photos with the assembled burner:
Next is the conveyor for the sawdust.

I have started to put the nut-bolt-washer castings on the sawmill structure.
Painted them rust color and made plates for them:
Glued the castings on the plates:
The plates glued on the vertical columns in the structure:

Coffee table progress -- repair car
New rolling stock scratchbuilt from styrene.
I took some old wheelsets and glued on a piece of styrene to make a flatcar:
Then made some junk from railroad ties and pipes:

Coffee table progress -- water tower
A simple water tower was scratchbuilt on the weekend.
I made the container from an empty round plastic container and some stripwood:
Made the supports from scale lumber:
I painted it, reinforced it. I found a ladder from an old HO model and added it:
